The Independence Day Kickoff Event

On July 4, 2023, Republicans Overseas France hosted a summer kickoff event to announce the launch of the Republicans Overseas 2023 Worldwide Freedom Initiative in Paris.  Congressman Mike Johnson gave the address remotely from the U.S., and launched the event in front of the international media. Rep. Johnson went on to become the U.S. Speaker of the House a mere three months later. The event was emceed by Republicans Overseas France President Randy Yaloz.

Pre-Summit Events

Members of Republicans Overseas gathered prior to the event for a tour of the National Assembly in Paris. Then, on the evening of the 9th, the group joined guests and dignitaries at the Senate Building for a tour. The group was able to sit in on a plenary session inside the French senate chambers before attending the welcome banquet, which was held in the Senate Restaurant.
